The result of watercolour painting depends on the kind of paper we use and blotting paper is an additional challenge to this fascinating technique.

This watercolour workshop will not be centred on any particular theme but like in oriental calligraphy, we will concentrate our attention on each gesture.

The brush choice, the right touch, the balance between colour and water and the movement that produces a 'one touch' trace will be the aim of our work.

We will use blotting and oriental papers, ready to catch each single drop of water and preserve the freshness of the gesture, the lightness of the breathing, the uniqueness of each movement of the brush.
