In this bookbinding technique, devised by Sün Evrard in the eighties, the book block, the spine, and the covers are prepared separately and assembled at a very advanced stage.
This allows for a quite free choice of materials such as leather, cloth, paper or parchment that can be arranged together in endless combinations.

In this workshop, lasting two days (16 hours), each participant will learn how to make the binding and will choose between the different covering materials and colours so that it will be interesting to compare each person's choices and results.

Each participant must bring a book unbound, divided into clean sections ready to be sewn.

9h am - 6h30 pm (lunch break)

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Registration must be made before the closing date.
Participation fee: 210 euro, including coffee breaks, costs of materials and the use of tools provided by the organizers.

Joining the association is necessary: membership 25 euro.

Class size is limited: we cannot guarantee places requested at the last moment. Payment order will determine the enrolment order.
Closing date for enrolment and payment of the fee: extended to September 17th, 2011.

CANCELLATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Enrolment must be cancelled in writing. If the cancellation letter is posted four weeks or more before the workshop begins, the participation fee will be refunded minus a 15% cancellation charge.
If the cancellation letter is posted less than four weeks but more than two weeks before the workshop begins, then the participation fee will be refunded minus a 50% cancellation charge.
If the cancellation letter is posted less than two weeks before the workshop begins, then the participation fee will not be refunded.
No refund will be given if students enrol but, without further notification, do not participate at the workshop.
