LOCATION
The workshop will be held at the seventeenth century Franciscan convent in Monte Mesma. A fascinating accommodation in a serene location, among the green wood of the Special Nature Reserve of Monte Mesma, a hill 576 m. high, on the eastern side of Orta Lake. Through this class, you may get inexpensive accommodations, food included, in single rooms from the 21 to the 28 of June (7 nights).
We will cook and eat all together.
Otherwise, we can suggest additional solutions of hotels and B&B in the surroundings (map). However, in this case it is necessary to have a car, to be able to independently reach the convent each day.

DATES AND TIMES
Arrival Saturday, 21, departure Saturday, 28 June.
The lessons will take place from the 22 to the 27 June, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

There will be coffee and lunch breaks each day.
Wednesdau 25 is free, to allow the participants to enjoy the surroundings and the Orta Lake, or just to relax in the park and in the cloisters of the convent.
The class will be taught in English; we can assist students also in Italian, French and Swedish if required.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
The registration fee is 1100 euro per person, including food and lodging for 7 nights (starting with dinner on Saturday 21 until breakfast of Saturday 28), coffee breaks, costs of materials and the use of the tools, provided by the organizers.
Early bird offer (balance by 28 April) 1000 euro.
Without food and lodging, the registration fee is 820 euro per person.
Travel expenses are the responsibility of the students.
A membership fee of 30 euro in the Association is necessary.
To enroll, beside registering online, you must pay a first installment of 300 euro, and send a copy of the receipt along with a confirmation email, specifying whether you want to stay at the convent; please note that places available are limited, so you are invited to book early. Payment dates will determine booking priorities. The final booking order is determined by the payment order, however the payment can only be done from 1 January 2025; therefore, registration made on an earlier date counts as pre-registration and, in order for the enrollment to be confirmed, it will be necessary to make the payment as soon as possible at the start of the new social year (1 January 2025) and notify it by mail to the Secretariat.

The deadline for the balance of the fee is 26th May, 2025.
The convent can also accommodate people who do not participate in the workshop but accompany a participant. For information, please contact us.
 
CANCELLATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Enrolment must be cancelled in writing.
If the cancellation letter is posted four weeks or more before the workshop begins, the installment will be refunded minus a 15% cancellation charge. If the cancellation letter is posted less than four weeks but within the closing date for enrollments, then the installment will not be refunded as cancellation charge.
If the cancellation letter is posted less than two weeks before the workshop begins, then the participation fee will not be refunded. No refund will be given if students enroll but, without further notification, do not participate at the workshop.
In case the minimum number of participants should not be reached, the course will be cancelled and the whole fee refunded.
