A new workshop under the discreet and gentle guidance of Eleonora Cumer, during which we will once again have the opportunity to create with our hands, giving voice to our emotions.

 
A sign made with a brush and ink.
A shape that represents us.
A thread that unites the sign and the form.
A book that narrates the gesture of a moment, but also the sensations arising from that gesture and which are enclosed in the form we have chosen.
The cotton thread is the leitmotif of our feeling.

 
Printing, sewing, drawing with thread, sign with ink traced both with the brush and with the nib.
Experimenting on our sensations using different materials.
Eyes closed letting go to discover a hidden world.

 
Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Maria Lai can be the masters who accompany us on the journey with their shapes and the thread, both painted and sewn.

LOCATION
The course will take place at Professione Libro, Via Angelo Del Bon, 1 - 20158 MILAN - IT
Unfortunately our premises are not accessible to people with motor disabilities or walking difficulties, as they are located in the basement without a lift.

TIME
Saturday and Sunday 10am - 6pm (1h lunch break, coffee break).
It will be possible to eat all together in a bar close to the workshop.
Tuition will be in Italian, but it will be possible to have assistance also in English and French.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS
All materials and tools will be available in the laboratory.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Registration must be made before the closing date.
The participation fee is 255 euro, including coffee breaks, costs of materials and the use of tools, provided by the organizers.
Early bird offer (enrollment by 28 October): 235 euro.

Membership to the Association for 2023 is requested (30 euro).

The course is limited in number: upon reaching the maximum number admitted, it is possible to ask to be placed on the waiting list.

Closing date for enrolment and payment of the fee: 24 November 2023.
The final enrollment order is determined by the payment order, therefore, registration made on an earlier date counts only as pre-registration: in order for the enrollment to be confirmed, it is necessary to make the payment and notify it by mail to the Secretariat.

CANCELLATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Enrolment must be cancelled in writing.
If the cancellation letter is posted two weeks or more before the workshop begins, the participation fee will be refunded minus a 15% cancellation charge.
If the cancellation letter is posted less than two weeks but before the closing date of enrollments, then the participation fee will be refunded minus a 50% cancellation charge.
No refund will be given in case of cancellation after the closing date. Yet, if a person on the waiting list could take over, the fee will be refunded in full (to the exclusion of any membership fee paid contextually, covering the administration costs).
No refund will be given if, once registered and without further communication, the student doesn't partecipate.
In case the minimum number of participants should not be reached, the course will be cancelled and the whole fee refunded.
The confirmation of the feasibility of the workshop will be announced to the participants after the closing of entries, or when the minimum number of enrolments will be reached.
